<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fine adjustment of the amount of pushing and pulling an erecting wire. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A coarse adjustment knob 46 and a fine adjustment knob 47 for adjusting the amount of pushing and pulling the erecting wire 29 are provided to be coaxial with bending knobs 40, 41 for bending a bending portion at the distal end of the insertion portion. Since the rotating operation of the coarse adjustment knob 46 is directly transmitted to an erecting pulley 83 on which the erecting wire 29 is put by a cylindrical member 88, the amount of pushing and pulling the erecting wire 29 is coarsely adjusted. The rotating operation of the fine adjustment knob 47 is transmitted to the erecting pulley 83 by reducing a speed by the cylindrical member 80, a sun gear 79, a planetary gear 85, and an outer gear 84.
