The housing has a housing outer side (14) and a housing inner side (15) for an electronic key of a locking system of a motor vehicle i.e. car. A switch element (10) e.g. electrical switch and sensor, is provided in the housing. An actuator (2) includes a hard component (12) and a soft component (13). The soft component is fastened to the housing such that the hard component is movable over the soft component for operating the switch element. The hard component rests on the soft component at the housing outer side. The hard component is fastened to the soft component by welding. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a housing.
