PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of drawing straight lines by a droplet discharging head which enables drawing each of two or more straight lines in mutually different directions with high precision on a target material. SOLUTION: The method uses a droplet discharging head in which a large number of nozzles are arranged linearly on the nozzle face. A straight line L1 in one direction, among two or more straight lines L1, L2, etc. to be drawn on the target material W, is drawn on the target material W in the first direction by, while discharging droplets from the nozzles toward a target material W held on a stage facing the nozzle face, moving the droplet discharging head and the stage relatively linearly in a direction different from that of the arrangement of the nozzles and thus carrying out scanning, and then another straight line is drawn on the target material W in a second direction different from the first direction in order to draw another straight line on the target material W in a direction different from that of the one straight line.
