The apparatus comprises: a plurality of channels for inputting/outputting signals between the apparatus and the device to be tested; a generating unit for generating a data string of packets to be communicated with the device to be tested; and a channel selecting unit for selecting the channel, out of the plurality of channels, through which a data string of packets generated by the generating unit is to be communicated.
