<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein electronic data created by a bookbinding application may hold print settings for a target printer, and in such a case, when the electronic data are used in a different environment, the target printer cannot be referred to and the information held cannot be used, as it is. <P>SOLUTION: Printer data having information regarding a target printer are prepared, in addition to the electronic data created by a bookbinding application. When the electronic data is to be read, the bookbinding application identifies the target printer by the printer data and automatically registers it on a printer list available to the bookbinding application, as necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
