PURPOSE: A pillar structure of a construction is provided to prevent the deformation of exterior supports, such as splitting and bending, wherein the exterior supports are made of timber. CONSTITUTION: A pillar structure of a construction comprises a square pillar, an exterior support(20), a fixture, a fixture cover(40), an upper connecting member(50), and a lower fixing member(70). The square pillar is formed out of a steel material into a polygonal shape in the center of a pillar(100). The fixture fixes the exterior support. The fixture cover prevents the exposure of the square pillar and the fixture. The upper connecting member secures a superstructure placed on the top of the pillar. The lower fixing member secures the pillar on the ground.
