PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aurally acknowledge an elevator operating condition even by visually-impaired people. SOLUTION: In an elevator sound control device 103, a data receiving section 105 receives operation data presenting the operating condition of a car 102 from an elevator control device 101. A signal generation section 140 generates a sound effect signal applied to each of speakers 104a, 104b outputting sound effect into the car 102 with respect to each speaker. A signal processing section 130 applies signal processing for adding an acoustic effect corresponding to the operating condition presented by the operation data received by the data receiving section 105 to the sound effect output by each of the speakers 104a, 104b, to the sound effect signal generated by the signal generation section 140 with respect to each speaker. A signal outputting section 150 applies the sound effect signal applied with the signal processing by the signal processing section 130 to each of the speakers 104a, 104b in order to output the sound effect from each of the speakers 104a, 104b.
