PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device and a destination setting method capable of alleviating time and effort for inputting address data by users in order to speedily set a destination by inputting an address. SOLUTION: When an address input menu is selected, address data corresponding to position data input on a map is displayed. A user changes a part of the displayed address data to renew into an intended address data and the position corresponding to the renewed address data is designated as the destination. Thereby, the intended address data can be obtained by necessary minimum input operation (operation to change only a part different from the intended address in the initially displayed address data) without inputting in order the address data from an uppermost province to a lowermost lot number and thus the time and effort for inputting address data by users can be alleviated.
