<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assisting device appropriately fitted to a user's foot. <P>SOLUTION: In the walking assisting device, a leg brace and a sole brace 26 are coupled with each other by an ankle joint 24. The leg brace is disposed along a leg of the user, and the sole brace 26 is fixed to the sole of the user. The sole brace 26 and the ankle joint 24 are coupled with each other via a rocking member 44 which rocks around a yawing axis CL of the ankle of the user.
