PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear with a motor which inhibits its specifications from becoming excessive to both of the level of a driving torque required for the rotating operation of an output part and that of a holding torque required for holding the position of the rotating direction of the output part and which suppresses the enlargement of capacity and dimensions of a device. SOLUTION: The reduction gear 13 outputs a torque from an output part 16. A motor 14 for driving and holding, which is connected to the reduction gear 13, generates the driving torque in the rotating operation of the output part 16 and the holding torque in holding the position of the rotating direction of the output part 16 and transmits them to the reduction gear 13. A holding device 15, which is connected to the reduction gear 13, generates only the holding torque and transmits it to the reduction gear 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
