<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooling device effectively exchanging heat with a thermoelectric conversion element, and adjusting temperature of fuel and temperature of exhaust gas recirculated by an EGR system in an internal combustion engine using liquefied natural gas as fuel and provided with the EGR system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The EGR cooling device 101 is provided in the EGR system 111 of the engine 1 using liquefied natural gas as fuel and including a fuel carburetor 17. The device includes: an EGR cooler 8; an EGR cooling water supply passage 11; an EGR cooling water discharge passage 12; a cooling water supply passage 13; a water supply passage 15 for a fuel carburetor; a water communication passage 14 providing communication between a first communication part 11a of the cooling water supply passage 13 and the EGR cooling water supply passage 11, and a second communication part 12a of the EGR cooling water discharge passage 12 and the water supply passage 15 for the fuel carburetor; a change over valve 19 of a passage disposed at the first communication part 11a; and a Peltier element part 10 cooling the EGR cooler 8 and heating the fuel carburetor 17.
