<p>Described is a display device ( 10 ) with a printed circuit board ( 12 ), with at least one light source ( 14 ) and with a single-segment or multi-segment display ( 16 ) which is connected by optical waveguides ( 46 ) to the light sources ( 14 ) which are preferably SMD-LEDs. The display device ( 10 ) has a block ( 18 ) for holding the optical waveguides ( 46 ) firmly in position, with a front surface associated with the single-segment or multi-segment display ( 16 ) and a base surface associated with the light sources ( 14 ). The optical waveguides ( 46 ) are in the form of light fingers ( 38, 42 ) which extend through the block ( 18 ). The printed circuit board ( 12 ) can include any angle of between 0 and >=90° with the multi-segment display ( 16 ).</p> |
