<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The opening (10) has plastic inner and outer skins (12, 14), and a pivoting unit i.e. hinge (16), materializing a pivoting axis (Y) of the opening on a motor vehicle between a closing position and an opening position. A motorized generating unit i.e. motor (17), generates a motor torque around the axis of the opening. The motor has a shaft (34) that co-operates with the hinge, in a co-axial manner. The hinge and the motor are arranged in the skin (12). The motor is installed in an upper part of the opening, above a quarter window (19). #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a rear opening assembly comprising identical inner and outer skins. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rear opening i.e. end gate, for being arranged on a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The hinge associated to the motor can be assembled on the opening without modifying remaining parts of the opening, thus assembling the motor on the opening, in an easy manner. The opening permits to directly integrate the motor necessary for opening the rear opening without requiring a case specially adapted for the vehicle, thus simplifying management of versions of the case by manufacturer in an expensive manner, and hence reducing encumbrance of the motor. The case can be removed from the motor for providing additional space for other functions such as reinforcements, of rear of the case and the opening. The configuration of the opening ensures space in a cab interior of the vehicle and in the top of the case for providing a large quarter window. The motor can be directly installed in an upper part of the opening without disturbing vision field.
