<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine which includes a stator core composed of a plurality of magnetic steel plates stacked in the direction of a rotor shaft, and effectively prevents the loss of the magnetic properties of the stator core when the rotating electrical machine is manufactured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine includes the stator core 2 composed of the plurality of magnetic steel plates 10 stacked in the rotation direction of the rotor shaft. The magnetic steel plates 10 making up the stator core 2 are integrated together by a frictional stirring joint of the outer peripheral surfaces of the magnetic steel plates 10 along the direction of stacking adjacent magnetic steel plates.
