<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive coupling type touch switch having a digital input part and an analog input part or a plurality of analog input parts different in definition, which are arranged in the same area and automatically switched. <P>SOLUTION: A position of a strip switch electrode along the longitudinal direction is determined. A plurality of proximity levels are identified according to the distance between a finger and the switch electrode.
