PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing deice having reduced cost and further improved bearing performance. SOLUTION: A bearing sleeve 8 as an injection molded product, which has an integrated seal porion 8b to form a seal space S between a shaft portion 2a and itself, is fixed to the inner periphery of a housing 7. One or more axial groove 8d1 is provided in an outer peripheral face 8d of the bearing sleeve 8, and a fluid passage 10 is formed extending in the axial direction by the axial groove 8d1 and an inner peripheral face 7a1 of the housing 7. With the upper end of the fluid passage 10, the outer diameter end of a communication hole 11 is communicated which is provided in the bearing sleeve 8 extending in the radial direction. The inner diameter end of the communication hole 11 is communicated with the upper end of a radial bearing clearance. A series of circuits are formed by the fluid passage 10 and the communication hole 11, and the radial bearing clearance and a first thrust bearing clearance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
