<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a nanomaterial using physical collision, and a nanomaterial, particularly, a carbon nanomaterial and an advantageous production method of the material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The production method of the nanomaterial comprises producing the nanomaterial by physical collision of a plurality of substances containing an iron-based material. The iron-based material in substances to be collided is used as a raw material of the nanomaterial, and at least one kind of element constituting the iron-based material is used as a constituent element of the nanomaterial.
