<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database generating device for easily generating a new database even when a plurality of kinds of list data with different data forms exist, and confirming fluctuation correction, and also to provide a database generating method, and a computer program. <P>SOLUTION: One or a plurality of electronic document files are acquired, so as to specify the database items and data extraction rules of the database to be generated. Fluctuation information related to the difference of the list data extracted from the different electronic document files is extracted, so as to impart tag information when the change of the data extraction rule exists. The database items and the corresponding data are extracted by reflecting the change of the data extraction rule, and the corresponding data is displayed by list by arraying the database items in response to the tag information imparted to the database items.
