PURPOSE: A variable valve for a muffler is provided to improve noise reduction effect when an engine drives at a low speed by changing an exhaust gas path with gravity against the exhaust pressure and the exhaust press of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A variable valve for a muffler includes a valve body. The valve body controls an exhaust gas path(4ab) formed inside a muffler with the exhaust pressure of the exhaust gas and the weight thereof. The exhaust gas path is formed on a baffle(4a,4b) inside the inside of the muffler. The baffle divides the inside of the muffler into a front chamber and a central chamber. The exhaust gas path connects the front chamber and the central chamber.
