<p>A component transfer device comprises a mechanism (20) for holding a component while positioning on the carrying surface (S) of predetermined height, and a unit (40) for pulling out a component held by the holding mechanism on the carrying surface of predetermined height in the horizontal direction. The pull-out unit includes members (43, 44) for grasping a component separably from the vertical direction, a cam member (42) causing the grasping members to perform grasping operation and releasing operation of the component at a predetermined timing by imposing cam action to the grasping members, and mechanisms (41, 46, 47) for driving the cam member and the grasping member. Since the pull-out unit causes the grasping member to perform grasping operation and releasing operation of the component through cam action of the cam member, the component can be grasped and pulled out surely at a desired timing and can be transferred smoothly to a predetermined supply area while simplifying the structure thus enhancing operation efficiency and productivity.</p> |
