<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend straightening apparatus capable of surely matching the direction of bend curl in a wire rod unwound from a spool with the straightening direction thereof, thereby performing a stable straightening. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bend straightening apparatus for the wire rod includes: a straightening roller group composed of at least three straightening rollers 32; and a restriction roller group composted of restriction roller pairs 22 and arranged in parallel to the moving direction S of a wire rod 4 between the spool 5 and the straightening roller group. Each restriction roller 221 of each restriction roller pair 22 has a rotary axis vertically extending to each of the rotary axis 51 of the spool 5 and the moving direction S of the wire rod 4, is further arranged at both the sides of a plane including almost the circular arc part 41 of the wire rod 4 and restricts the wire rod 4 at the outer circumferential face of restriction. In this way, the straightening direction of each straightening roller 32 with a rotary axis extending parallelly to the rotary axis 51 of the spool 5 and the direction of the bend curl of the wire rod 4 are matched with each other.
