<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device allowing easy and quick setting of a parking position when setting the target parking position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The parking support device to support parking of a vehicle at the target parking position includes a display control means for superimposedly displaying a target parking lot on a taken image showing the surroundings of the vehicle; and a target parking lot moving means for moving the target parking lot to a position inputted by a user through an input means. The parking assistance device includes a target parking position setting means for setting the target parking position according to the target parking lot; and a parking path calculation means for calculating a parking path to the target parking position set by the target parking position setting means. The display control means superimposedly displays on the taken image an overlapping area between an area where the target parking lot is movable by the target parking lot moving means and an area where the parking path is calculatable by the parking path calculation means.
