PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general analysis apparatus for analyzing the form of ears including a branch structure of ears such as rice ears. SOLUTION: The analysis apparatus for analyzing a branch structure of plant ears includes an image collecting part (101) of collecting images of ears, a portion extracting part (103) of extracting branches and chaffs from the images of ears, a branched state deciding part (105) of deciding a branched state of the branches, and a data file (115) having a tree structure corresponding to the branched state of the branches.
