PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for stabilizing toner density of a developer in a recursive route in a development unit 7Y rather than conventional apparatuses by drive control of a toner supply device based on image information. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus configures a supply control part not shown in the figure so as to execute processing composing drive control patterns constructed on the basis of subsequent pages for an unfulfilled part excluding a part already reflected on drive control of a toner supply means out of the drive control patterns constructed on the basis of image information of preceding pages, by sequentially constructing the drive control pattern of a toner supply device based on the image information on each page in continuous image forming operation.
