PURPOSE: An image forming device and an image forming method thereof are provided to reduce resource which are required to output XPS files by replacing redundancy in the XPS files. CONSTITUTION: A communications interface unit(110) receives an XPS(XML Paper Specification) file. An XPS emulator unit(130) replaces redundancy in the received XPS file with a parsing object. The XPS emulator unit performs rendering of the XPS of which redundancy is replaced. A control unit(150) outputs the rendered XPS file. An decompression unit(131) decompresses the received XPS file. A parsing unit(132) parses the unpackaged XPS file.
