<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag mounting structure to more easily make compatible cushioning performance in relation to a coming object, and rigidity and strength when inflating and developing an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: A lower side case 9 mounted with a bag body unit 3 and an upper side case 8 fixed to a surface part 2 and arranged between the lower side case 9 and the surface part 2 are relatively slidably engaged substantially along a front and rear direction of the surface part 2 (along a relative slide direction SD).
