PURPOSE: A display device and a method for manufacturing the display device are provided to minimize the fault due to cracking of an optical sheet and a polarizing plate by reducing relative movement between the optical sheet and the display panel using adhesive power of a settling part. CONSTITUTION: A light source(160) is installed on the rear of a display panel(120). The light source supplies the light to the display panel. An optical sheet(140) is installed between the display panel and the light source. The optical sheet controls a route of the light. A block printing pattern(190) is formed on the optical sheet. The block printing pattern maintains the interval between the display panel and the optical sheet. The block printing pattern is formed using a hardened foamy ink.
