<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fastening of screws on a plurality of surfaces by using a single device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the device for folding operation of a workpiece, an inner side of a unit 11 is covered by a press cover 21 while a unit 12 is opened and fastened with the screws through holes of the press cover 21. Then, the unit 12 is folded by pressing a folding roller 9 to the back face thereof and pressing forward. An outer side of the unit 12 is covered with a press cover 22 and fastened with the screws through holes of the press cover 22. In folding the unit 12, the folding starts while the press cover 21 is kept closed and folding roller 9 temporarily stops the movement when the unit 12 reaches approximately 10 degrees before the vertical plane, then the press cover 21 is opened.
