PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus by which bounce photography can be performed and which has high handleability. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 includes a body part 10, a lens part 20 rotatably provided on the body part 10, and a light emitting part 30 rotatably provided to the body part 10. The rotary shaft of the lens part 20 is nearly parallel to the rotary shaft of the light emitting part 30, and the optical axis of the lens part 20 crosses the rotary shaft of its own, and the light radiating direction of the light emitting part 30 crosses the rotary shaft of its own. The digital camera 1 selectively performs synchronous rotation that either one of the lens part 20 and the light emitting part 30 rotates, and also the other rotates with rotation of either one, and asynchronous rotation that even when either one of the lens part 20 and the light emitting part 30 rotates, the other does not rotate.
