PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device by which the length size of a terminal metal fitting is prevented from becoming large in the extending direction of an electric wire before and after crimping. SOLUTION: The terminal crimping device 50 crimps a wire barrel piece 17 to a core wire 10 placed on the terminal metal fitting. A crimper 31 includes a body 53 having a sliding contact surface 51 and an abutting part 54 which protrudes to both sides in the extending direction of the electric wire 11 from the body 53, and further protrudes inward in the direction crossing the sliding contact surface 51. The abutting part also abuts on the wire barrel piece 17 from both the sides in the extending direction of the electric wire 11 when the wire barrel piece 17 is crimped to the core wire 10.
