PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous epoxy resin membrane having improved separation performance while keeping the permeation liquid quantity, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The porous epoxy resin membrane includes a three-dimensional network skeleton and interconnected pores, wherein the diameter of the pore gradually increases in thickness direction from one surface of the membrane toward the other surface. The method for producing the porous epoxy resin membrane having a three-dimensional network skeleton and interconnected pores comprises: a filling step of filling a solution containing an epoxy resin, a curing agent and a porogen in between a pair of sheets; a reaction-inducing phase-separation step of heating one of the sheets to cause phase separation of the polymerized epoxy resin and the porogen while polymerizing the epoxy resin; and a removal step of removing the porogen from the cured material obtained by the reaction-inducing phase-separation step.
