A process of manufacturing a mattress having a bottom piece, longitudinal pieces, cross pieces, a top piece and a core. The process includes using a moulding substance of the same material as the listed pieces of the mattress to join the pieces. The moulding substance is applied to the contact areas between the mattress pieces.
