<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver system that achieves satisfactorily connection between an electric plug of an optical transceiver and an electric connector of a host system. <P>SOLUTION: This optical transceiver system has a screw 28 provided on a front wall 12c of a CFP transceiver 12, the screw being directly fixed to a rail system provided on a substrate 18 without being fixed to a front panel of the host system. The screw 28 provided on a front wall 12c of a CFP transceiver 12, namely, on a flange 12b, is bonded directly to the front end of a leg part 20b of the rail system through a face panel 16 of the host system and a gasket holder 52.
