A mobile telephone (1) includes: a transmission setting unit (21) which registers image data to be transmitted to a data reception device in a transmission setting database (50); and an image data transmission unit (12) which receives a transmission request from the data reception device and transmits the image data registered in the transmission setting database (50) to the data reception device which has transmitted the transmission request.  Thus, even when the data transmission device cannot transmit to the data reception device, additional information-attached data, transmission of which is desired by a user, it is possible to transmit the desired additional information-attached data to the data reception device without again forcing the user to perform the transmission process to the data reception device.
