In a camera, in which an exposed photosensitive sheet is superposed on a transfer sheet with a processing liquid, for diffusion transfer, introduced therebetween, an exit slot 92 for the superposed materials in light trapped by a dihedral panel 158, preferably pivotally mounted so as to swing across into the exposure chamber 46, when the camera back 12 is swung open and allow a new roll 94 to be placed in chamber 96. The photo-sensitive and transfer sheets are pulled, immediately after exposure, through slot 92 and the transfer process is completed while they remain in contact outside the camera. The film metering and winding control, the film cutting arrangement and the pressure roller on back latch arrangement Fig. 5 (not shown) are the same as in Specification 1,100,666. The panel 158 is spring urged into the open position and closed, on clsoing the back 12, by the action of slide 174 co-acting with cam 176 on back 12. Material guide ribs 166 and edge guiding projections 168 are provided on panel 158. Projections 172, on opaque panel 170 engage the margins of the transfer material and bow the sheets to retain the processing liquid, from capsules ruptured by rollers 104, 106, therebetween. In another form Fig. 6 (not shown), the panel is carried on an arm pivoted near the middle of the exposure aperture. The camera body is formed of inner and outer shells of organic plastic, the inner shell and panel 158 being of black opaque material and the outer shell of light coloured translucent material. |
