A laminated product comprises (1) a flexible facing sheet of beater saturated leather fibres bonded together with 50-150% by weight based on the weight of the fibres of an acrylic terpolymer comprising alkyl acrylates in which the alkyl group contains 2-4 carbon atoms, and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and (2) a flexible air-layed backing sheet laminated to the facing sheet, the backing sheet comprising a non-woven web of fibres having a length in the range of ¥ to 3 inches bonded with the acrylic terpolymer. The terpolymer comprises 50- 80% by weight of ethyl acrylate, 10-30% by weight of n-butyl acrylate, and 1-7% by weight of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and the flexible backing sheet comprises nylon fibres bonded with 35-60% by weight based on the dry weight of the fibres of the acrylic terpolymer. |
