<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device for a glass plate, which is provided with a breaking apparatus which can break the glass plate at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The breaking apparatus 7 includes: a supporting means supporting the glass plate 2 to be broken; a breaking head means 72a pressing the given part of the glass plate 2 supported by the supporting means and breaking the glass plate 2 along a cutting line 3; and a moving means 73a relatively moving the breaking head means 72a to the given part to be pressed in the glass plate 2 supported by the supporting means. The supporting means has: an endless belt 60 to be mounted with the glass plate 2; movable partial supporting mechanisms partially supporting the endless belt 60 from the back face; and a moving means relatively moving the respective partial supporting mechanisms to the glass plate 2 correspondingly to the given part of the glass plate 2 pressed by the breaking head means 72a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
