PURPOSE: A semiconductor IC is provided to improve the fidelity of a signal by reducing the number of a global line with the distortion of the signal. CONSTITUTION: A pre-decoding block(600) comprises a bank address pre-decoder(610) and a pre-column strobe signal generation block(620). The bank address pre-decoder receives a second bank address. The bank address pre-decoder provides a true signal and a bar signal for the pre-column strobe. The pre-column strobe signal generation block comprises a first and a second pre-column strobe signal generating units(622,624). The first and the second pre-column strobe signal generating units provides the first and the second pre-column strobe signal in the active state of a column command signal.
