<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a variation in circumferential speed of a rotary body is suppressed even if an angle is formed between a driving shaft and a rotary body shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a coupling member 110 which transmits torque to a photoreceptor shaft 102 while suppressing the variation in rotating speed occurring in the photoreceptor shaft 102 even if an angle are formed between the driving shaft 101 and photoreceptor shaft 102. Consequently, even if a motor 100 is not accurately fitted and the driving shaft 101 extending from the motor 100 has an angle, the photoreceptor shaft 102 can be prevented from rotating at unequal speed.
