<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum agitating and defoaming apparatus capable of improving the degree of vacuum, miniaturizing a vacuum pump and saving energy and further to provide the vacuum agitating and defoaming apparatus capable of making the whole device small-sized and light weight and being manufactured inexpensively with a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the vacuum agitating and defoaming apparatus having a container 80 housing a material to be agitated and defoamed and mounted in a vacuum chamber 701 and provided with a rotating frame 20 for rotating and revolving the container 80, a rotating space buried material 200 for burying a rotating space of the rotating frame 20 is provided on the rotating frame 20 or a rotary shaft 21 to be rotated together and a case space buried material 700 burying a space in a case free from causing the interference on the rotation of the rotating frame 20 and the mechanism of the same is provided in the case 70 to reduce the vacuum volume in the vacuum chamber 701.
