EXTRACTS OF FLAVONOIDS-CONTAINING TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE, EXTRACTION METHOD, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION AND APPLICATION THEREOF

摘要

The extracts of flavonoids-containing traditional Chinese medicine contain more than 10% (wt/wt) of flavonoids and more than 0.3% (wt/wt) of glycyrrhizin. The preparation of this extracts includes immersing the flavonoids-containing traditional Chinese medicine in water and then extracting the traditional Chinese medicine with alcohol. The weight ratio between the traditional Chinese medicine containing flavonoids and the water used for immersing the medicine is less than 1:5. Since using the specific weight ratio and extraction method, the extracts and the drug composition containing the extracts have better effects in treating or preventing bacteria, inflammation, cancer, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia.
