<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a workflow by allowing each of a plurality of image processing apparatuses to perform processing in accordance with an instruction received from a control apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a workflow control method, a PC, regarding each of a plurality of MFPs, stores apparatus information defining at least one executable process in an HDD, receives an instruction for executing a plurality of processes including an output process for outputting data and designation of an output apparatus for executing an output process from among the plurality of MFPs (S04), assigns at least one of the plurality of processes to an execution apparatus among the plurality of MFPs (S06), transmits, to a preprocessing apparatus different from the output apparatus among the execution apparatuses, data as a processing object, a first execution instruction for executing a process assigned thereto and a storage instruction to identify and store a processing result of an executed process (S10, S14), acquires the processing result (S11), and transmits, after acquiring a processing result from the preprocessing apparatus, the processing result and a second instruction to execute a process assigned to the output apparatus (S15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
