<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch capable of increasing torque capacity when power transmitting power and suppressing increase in drag torque when the power transmission is not carried out. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The clutch includes a first rotation element 12 and a second rotation element 16 which are coaxially arranged, a fluid chamber 14 including a clearance B1 formed between the first rotation element 12 and the second rotation element 16 and composed to be fluid-tight, and magnetic viscous fluid 15 flling the fluid chamber 14 and composed by mixing magnetic powder 21 in base oil. The clutch is capable of relatively increase the torque capacity between the first rotation element 12 and the second rotation element 16 by forming a magnetic field, aligning the magnetic powder 21, and relatively increasing the semblance viscosity of the magnetic viscous fluid 15. An oil-repellent layer 20 for discharging the base oil from the clearance B1 to the outside is provided on a surface forming the clearance B1 of at least either the first rotation element 12 or the second rotation element 16.
