<p>Disclosed is a painting booth wherein an elongated object (w) such as an automobile or an electric railcar can be painted while the inside of a painting space (100a) is ventilated with a comparatively small energy. The painting booth forms a push-pull ventilation passage for pressure feeding and sucking gas between vent openings (10, 12) arranged opposite each other in the horizontal direction in the painting space surrounded by side walls on all sides, wherein a vent opening (10) larger than the projection profile of an object to be painted is provided in open and shut doors (7a, 7b), on the painting space side, for carrying the object to be painted into the painting space, another vent opening (12) larger than the projection profile of an object to be painted is provided on the side opposite to the open and shut doors (7a, 7b), and a push-pull ventilation passage is formed to pass through the vent opening (10) the painting space (100a) and the vent opening (12) when the open and shut doors are closed.</p> |
