Provided is a means that allows each device in a relayed communication system, wherein remote LANs communicate beyond WANs, to confirm the virtual network environment of the relayed communication system in real time. Relay servers (12, 22) relay communications between a client terminal (11) and a client terminal (21). The relay server (12 or 22) generates the information shown below and shares it with the entire relayed communication system: relay group information indicating the virtual private IP addresses and the connection establishment status of relay servers (12, 22), and relay server information indicating the virtual IP address and the connection establishment status of the client terminal (11 or 21) that can communicate with the relay server (12 or 22). Each device in the relayed communication system can share the information regarding the virtual private IP addresses and the connection establishment status of all of the devices, so communication whereby the virtual private IP addresses are designated as communication addresses can be flexibly executed. |
