<p>Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an electrifying roller that can manufacture an electrifying roller at low cost with high accuracy in a simpler manner. Also disclosed is an electrifying roller manufactured by the method. A method for manufacturing an electrifying roller (10, 20) equipped with a shaft (1), an elastic layer (2) provided on the outer circumference of the shaft (1), and a surface layer (3) provided on the outer circumferential surface of the elastic layer (2) comprises an immersion step of moving the shaft (1) downward so that the major axis direction of the shaft (1) is perpendicular to a liquid level (8a) of a coating material solution (8) containing an ultraviolet curable resin, whereby the shaft (1) is immersed in the coating material solution (8), and an ultraviolet irradiation step of, after the immersion step, pulling up the shaft (1) upward in the perpendicular direction and applying ultraviolet light to the outer circumference of the major axis direction of the pulled-up shaft (1) to form the elastic layer (2). The electrifying rollers (10, 20) can be manufactured by the method.</p> |
