PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer having a significant effect of suppressing a decrease in image density, a void during transfer in long-term printing and generation of fog due to reduction in a charge amount. SOLUTION: The two-component developer comprises a carrier and a toner comprising toner base particles containing a binder resin and a colorant to which an external additive is added, wherein the external additive comprises, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the toner base particles, 0.05 to 2.0 parts by weight of hydrophobic silica (A) having a number average particle diameter of 5 to 20 nm, 0.05 to 2.0 parts by weight of hydrophobic titania having a number average particle diameter of 5 to 40 nm, 1.0 to 5.0 parts by weight of hydrophobic silica (B) having a number average particle diameter of over 20 nm to 70 nm, 0.1 to 1.0 part by weight of strontium titanate having a weight average particle diameter of 30 to 75 nm, and 0.01 to 0.1 part by weight of zinc stearate having a volume median particle diameter of 1.5 to 12μm.
