The present invention relates to a memory card which is supplemented with a wireless communication module and a terminal for using the same. An external memory is provided to a communication terminal, and a memory card with corresponding information is provided for using the same. The memory card is connected to the communication terminal which does not have a wireless communication module to provide a WPAN function for the communication terminal. The memory card includes the augmented wireless communication module for providing WPAN function to a communication terminal without such wireless communication function. Since the memory card is inserted into a card slot of the communication terminal, the wireless communication module with supplemented memory card is protected from external shock. Loss of the wireless communication module is prevented because a user does not have to separate the memory card from the card slot when the wireless communication module is not used in the communication module.
