[Also in Division F1] A bucket-piston 9 of magnetizable material, mounted as a unit with the cylinder 8, in the bore 7 through the shortened limb 5 of an E-shaped stator lamination bundle 2, or a shortened limb of a U-shaped stator, is moved against a compression spring 10 by a magnetic field produced by an energizing winding 3. The spring 10 is secured to the piston 9 by means of a non-magnetizable spring retainer 18. A pair of limbs of an E-shaped stator may be shortened, each limb housing a pump unit. A plurality of pump units may be provided in the shortened limb or limbs of the stator. In a further embodiment, Fig. 2 (not shown), a stator comprising two E-shaped lamination bundles (2, 2<SP>1</SP>), having their unshortened limbs abutting, is provided and a piston and cylinder unit (8, 9) is mounted in coaxial bores in the shortened limbs (5, 5<SP>1</SP>). A plurality of pump units may be provided in corresponding coaxial bores in the shortened limbs. |
