PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively enhance security for a stored data. SOLUTION: A USB connection storage device includes a volatile memory 19 losing the stored data by disconnecting a power supply, a data maintaining battery 22 for charging electric energy from an outside to be supplied to the volatile memory 19, and a pattern comparison part 15 having an operation switch 14 comprising a plurality of switches, and for supplying the electric energy to the data maintaining battery 22, when detecting that the operation switch 14 is operated by a charge allowance operation procedure of preset operation procedure.
